Qualifications Qualifications


  1.  Be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Possess a valid passport and reside legally in a country.
  3. Have a Net Worth of €3,000,000, and be able to document the source and path of funds.
  4. Purchase a permanent, personal residence in Cyprus for min. €500,000 (plus VAT).
  5. Hold min. €2,000,000 of units in an Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), or purchase Cyprus real estate for €2,000,000 for 5 years.
  6. Pass a security background check.
  7. Must not have been previously refused citizenship by any EU country.
  8. Must have had a Schengen visa within the past 5 years, or still be holding a valid Schengen visa.
  9. No strict management experience, language, or education requirement.
  10. Dependents include the spouse, minor children, and financially-dependent adult children (students) up to age 28.
  11. Assets must not be frozen due to sanctions.

Option 1

€875,000 - Financed Investment in AIF Units

    The total cost of €875,000 includes all fees!

    • The applicant must purchase a €500,000 personal, lifetime residence in Cyprus.
    • Confederation will arrange non-recourse financing for the €2,000,000 in AIF units.
    • The price includes €200,000 in mandatory Government donations, VAT, and all legal and professional fees.
    • The personal residence rental income will be assigned to the lender for approx. 10 years.
    • The loan will be repaid from the redemption of the units and rental income, at no additional cost and no recourse to the applicant. 
    • Of the €875,000 price, €500,000 is a real estate asset in the applicant’s name, so the net cost is just €375,000.

    Option 2

    €2,655,000 – Investment in Cyprus Real Estate

      The total cost of €2,655,000 includes all fees! 

      • Applicant must invest €2,000,000 in Cyprus real estate.
      • If the investment is made in new construction, the personal residence is included in the €2,000,000 real estate investment.
      • The price includes €200,000 in mandatory Government donations, VAT, and all legal and professional fees.
      • The applicant will receive rental income from the real estate properties.
      • Other than the lifetime personal residence, the real estate may be sold in 5 years.
